| Paul C. Larson ... has been involved in magazine
and book publishing for over thirty years. He is credited with editing
and publishing more than 250 books on sailing and boating. His association
with the America's Cup began in 1983, when he edited and published John
Bertram's book Born to Win, about the only foreign challenge [ed.
In 1995, New Zealand became the second foreign challenge to win] to win
the event. In 1986, Paul Larsen served as the founding editor of the magazine
America's Cup Challenge, and while in Fremantle, Australia, for the
only Cup match ever raced outside the United States, he worked with Dennis
Conner on his book Comeback. In addition to editing and writing,
Paul Larsen heads the Larsen Media Group, a full-service public relations
company that serves the marine industry. For the past four years, the company
has been instrumental in promoting the professional match racing circuit.
