Member of a family where virtually everyone is a sailor (sister Debbie is also on the America3 team). Has been sailing and racing for most of her life in dozens of regattas, mostly in Michigan and Florida, where she learned to master a number of crew positions on boats ranging from 19' to 50'. Played for AYSO soccer and was on the varsity track team in high school. Prior to joining America3, she was a student at the University of Miami, where she was a resident assistant in the University's dormitory system and is a candidate for a bachelor's degree in marine biology. Was one of the founders of the Marine Mammal Stranding Network. Certified diver.(1/1/95)
