During her 23 years of racing experience, she has sailed a wide variety of boats (470s, Lasers, Lightnings, National One Designs). Was part of the first all-women's crew to compete in the Newport-Bermuda race in 1992. Has held various crew positions on first place boats, including: the 1990 Great Lakes Championships; Chicago Mac and Port Huron (1989, 1990 and 1991) races; the 1991 Queen's Cup; and the 1993 Verve Cup. Before assuming her joint roles as both America3 sailing team member and co-director of Development for the America3 Foundation, she was marketing director for INTERLUX Yacht Finishes, a division of Couraulds Coatings. Holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, where she was commodore of the sailing team.(1/1/95)
